Mechanism of Action: QS-21-Api stimulates both Th2-type humoral and Th1-type cell-mediated immune responses by acting directly on Antigen-Presenting Cells (APCs) and T cells.It activates the NLRP3 inflammasome, leading to the Caspase-1-dependent release of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-1β and IL-18.
